Job summary

UCI Health in Orange, CA seeks a Respiratory Care Practitioner to evaluate pulmonary dysfunction and provide ventilatory support through respiratory therapy. This role is critical to patient care in a busy clinical setting.

The candidate must graduate from an AMA approved Respiratory Care Program, be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), hold a valid California RCP license, and possess Pediatric PALS certification at hire. Current coworkers will be grandfathered for PALS until Aug 1, 2026.

Qualifications

• Must possess PALS certification for pediatric trained RCP.
• Must be a graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Care Program.
• Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
• Current RCP License or Work Permit from the State of California Respiratory Care Board. Must obtain RCP License prior to expiration of work permit.
• Current PALS Certification upon hire. (Current coworkers will be grandfathered until August 1, 2026, at which time, every coworker will be required to obtain a PALS certification).
