Job summary

Tanner is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for Cardiopulmonary duties during night shifts on a PRN basis. The successful candidate will administer respiratory treatments, manage airways and ventilators, and perform blood gas analyses in accordance with hospital policy.

Strong customer service skills and active involvement in quality improvement are essential. The role requires RRT certification with ACLS/PALS prerequisites to be completed within 8 months of employment.

Qualifications

• Three years of related respiratory care experience.
• ACLS, CPR, and PALS certifications required.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• Must become certified in PALS and ACLS within 8 months of employment.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist performs Cardiopulmonary duties in accordance with hospital policy/procedure under general supervision. This can include administering of respiratory treatments, airway management, ventilator management, blood gases, and other noninvasive cardiology procedures. This individual will be held to a high level of customer service representation and will be an active participant in the continuous quality improvement process. Serves as a resource to other employees.

Education

Experience

Three years of related experience. Requires working knowledge of specialized practices, equipment, and procedures.
