Job summary

The Staff Pad is partnering with a healthcare provider in Las Vegas, NM to hire a Respiratory Therapist (RRT). You will perform patient assessments, EKGs, ventilator management, and deliver comprehensive cardiopulmonary care in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities include education for patients and families, collaboration with physicians and nurses, and maintaining accurate documentation while complying with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Requires associate degree in respiratory science or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of hospital experience preferred.
• Current NM RRT license.
• BLS, ACLS; NRP and PALS within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cardiopulmonary assessments to develop treatment plans.
• Perform EKGs, assist with intubations, and manage ventilators.
• Administer respiratory treatments, airway care, and ventilation management.
• Provide respiratory care consultation to physicians, nurses, and staff.
• Ensure proper equipment use and adherence to best practices.
