Job description

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

North Carolina licensed Respiratory Therapist (RRT / CRT) needed for a Level 1 pediatric Trauma Center in Charlotte. The position involves 3x12 night shifts from 1845 to 0715, with a schedule cycle every 6 weeks. Every other weekend work is required. No call duties are included. The role may require floating within the region as needed, within the scope of practice. The therapist is expected to work approximately 75% of holidays. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (Resource Team requirements). NC licensure is mandatory. Technology used includes EMR: EPIC, and department-specific equipment such as ventilators (IPPV / NIPPV).

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist with NC licensure
• Adult SSN and DOB required
• Work history with no more than 30 days gap in employment history
• Two references from the entire work history
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
• RRT or CRT credential
• Experience with IPPV / NIPPV ventilators
• Experience in ED, PICU, Peds CVICU, Peds PCU, or General Medical Floors
