Job summary

Qualifications

• Current NBRC registration as CRT or RRT.
• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
• Active state licensure in Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients with COPD, asthma, and pulmonary fibrosis.
• Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans to improve lung function and overall health.
• Operate and maintain respiratory equipment including ventilators, oxygen therapy devices, and nebulizers.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Participate in rounds with the healthcare team to discuss patient progress and strategies for improving outcomes.
• Provide education and support to patients and families to promote self-management and empowerment.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field

NBRC CRT or RRT certification

Active licensure in Michigan
