Job Summary and Qualifications

As an RRT, you will perform critical care and diagnostic procedures for cardiopulmonary diseases across all ages, including equipment maintenance, quality control, and administrative tasks.

• Set up and operate respiratory care equipment.
• Perform procedures related to cardiopulmonary hemodynamics.
• Demonstrate competency in airway care.
• Assess patients, interpret results, and suggest treatments.
• Recognize and interpret respiratory dysfunctions.
• Deliver therapy, reassess patients, and document properly.
• Communicate with physicians and nurses regarding patient care.

Experience in an acute care hospital is preferred. Candidates must be graduates of an AMA-accredited Respiratory Therapy program, hold NBRC RRT credential, Texas license, BLS, and, for NICU and ICU roles, NRP and ACLS certifications respectively.
