Registered Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapy - PRN

Summary: Responsible for providing pulmonary care to critical, non-critical, and chronically ill adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients under physician supervision. Performs assessments, develops respiratory care plans, and executes various technical and diagnostic procedures across hospital units.

Responsibilities include:

• Meeting competencies in leadership as a self, team, or leader of leaders.
• Responding to emergencies (Code Blue and White), managing airways, administering aerosolized drugs, ventilator management, and supporting airway devices.
• Monitoring oxygen therapy, analyzing chest films, blood gases, and EKGs, documenting accurately, and participating in CAP and JC surveys.
• Potential to serve as Shift or Team Leader; advanced skills include pulmonary testing, bronchoscopy assistance, hemodynamic monitoring, waveform analysis, nocturnal SpO2 studies, and transport duties.

Qualifications:

• Licensure and/or certification as per state requirements.
• 1-3 years of experience preferred.
• Must hold RT or RCP license, BLS, NBRC RRT certification, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.

Work Schedule: Varies; Work Type: Per Diem As Needed.
