Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for PRN, night shifts. The role includes patient assessments, respiratory care procedures, blood gas analysis, and equipment maintenance in adult care areas.

Active NBRC-credentialed RRT and Georgia state license are required, along with current BCLS/ACLS certifications. No experience is required, though 1 year of experience is preferred. This PRN position supports our respiratory care team in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences is required.
• No experience is required; 1 year of experience preferred.
• Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care as an RRT and Georgia state license required.
• Current certifications in BCLS and ACLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and respiratory care procedures.
• Follow protocols for adult care and critical care procedures.
• Conduct blood gas analysis and monitor equipment.
• Educate patients and maintain equipment.

Responsibilities:

Performing patient assessments, general respiratory care procedures and protocols, critical care procedures in adult care areas, blood gas analysis, maintenance and management of all equipment and patient education.

Qualifications:

Education

• Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences Required

Work Experience

• No experience required Required
• 1 year of experience in performing professional respiratory duties Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners Required
