Job summary

Methodist Midlothian Medical Center in Midlothian, TX is seeking a Respiratory Therapist PRN to support patients in a busy, tech-enabled environment. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing per physician orders and established protocols.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Respiratory Care Program, current BLS and ACLS, NBRC registration, and Texas licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• NRP and Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• Texas license as Respiratory Care Practitioner in good standing.
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• Minimum 6 months of respiratory care experience.

Your Job: In this highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging Respiratory Therapist PRN position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for patients. The Respiratory Therapist consistently performs evidence based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing in accordance with physician orders and evidence based protocols.

Your Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
• Current Basic Life Support certification required
• Current Advanced Cardio Life Support certification required
• NRP, Pediatric Advanced Life Support— must obtain within 1 year of hire
• Currently licensed in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by Texas Medical Board
