Job summary

Mercy Hospital Southeast is recruiting a PRN Respiratory Therapist to perform direct patient care and collaborate with physicians on therapy effectiveness. The role requires a CoARC-approved Respiratory Care program graduate, current RCP licensure, and RRT credential; ER staff may require PALS, ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience: Prefer critical care experience.
• Hold the RRT credential.
• For ER, PALS is required.

Qualifications:Experience:

Prefer critical care experience.

Required Education:

Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.

Certifications:

Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). For co-workers who work in the Emergency Room PALS is required. Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.

Licensure:

Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.

Other:

Physical demands are attached plus push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs. Plus, pinch up to 10 lbs., kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally. Equipment Used: All appropriate respiratory care devices.
