Job summary

Methodist Midlothian Medical Center in Midlothian, Texas seeks a Respiratory Therapist PRN to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and provide evidence-based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing per orders and protocols.

The role requires a Respiratory Care Program graduate, BLS/ACLS, NBRC registration, Texas license, and at least 6 months of experience. PRN, 12-hour weeks, with rotating weekends and on-site duties.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• NRP and PALS must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
• Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the Texas Medical Board.
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• Minimum 6 months of respiratory care experience.

Job Description : In this highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging Respiratory Therapist PRNposition, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for patients. The Respiratory Therapist consistently performs evidence based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing in accordance with physician orders and evidence based protocols.

Your Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
• Current Basic Life Support certification required
• Current Advanced Cardio Life Support certification required
• NRP, Pediatric Advanced Life Support— must obtain within 1 year of hire
• Currently licensed in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by Texas Medical Board
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
• At least 6 months respiratory care experience.
