Job summary

Mercy in Oklahoma seeks a Respiratory Therapist to set up and operate respiratory care equipment under supervision of the lead therapist and department manager, assisting physicians in diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary conditions. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, NBRC registration, state licensure, and at least 1 year of experience; BLS/CPR is required and ACLS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of program approved by National Board for Respiratory Care.
• Licensure: Licensed with state of practice Board for Respiratory Care.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience required.
• Certification/Registration: Registered as a therapist by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
• Other: BLS/CPR through an American Heart Association approved course.
