Job summary

Medical City Lewisville is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to guide patients through diagnostics and therapy across emergency, ICU, and acute care settings. You’ll use advanced respiratory equipment, support ventilation management, and collaborate with physicians and nurses to deliver high‑quality care.

This role offers predictable scheduling, mentorship from RT leadership, and opportunities for ongoing professional growth within the HCA Healthcare network.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 6 months of employment start date
• BLS within 30 days of employment start date
• PALS within 6 months of employment start date
• NBRC-RRT or Neonatal/Pediatric Specialty
• Associate Degree or Certificate obtained

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status and interpret breath sounds to determine interventions.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy: oxygen, aerosols, and airway clearance techniques.
• Manage ventilation and airway support, including invasive and noninvasive modes.
• Educate patients and families, collaborate with physicians and nurses.
• Maintain and sterilize equipment, ensure infection-prevention standards.
