Summary

• Delivers age-specific respiratory care to patients in the PMPH System.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring quality care to our customers.
• Must adhere to all regulatory standards, i.e., JCAHO, Department of Health, and CAP.
• Assumes all patient/customer respiratory responsibilities.
• Understands and follows the organization’s policies, procedures, and standards.
• Responsible for performing all age-specific respiratory therapies.
• Participates in the department’s performance improvement activities.
• Knowledge of Performance Indicators and ensure exceeding results.

Credentials

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (Required)
• Certified or Registered status in accordance with requirements of National Board for Respiratory Care. Licensed in the State of New Jersey.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (Required, within 6 months of hire)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (Required, within 6 months of hire)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Required, within 6 months of hire)

Education or Equivalent Experience

• H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
• 1+ years Experience in Critical Care
• NICU and Pediatric experience
