Job summary

Mercy in Missouri seeks a Respiratory Therapist to provide direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy according to physician orders. You will consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness and act as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff.

This role offers a 36-hour work week with a $10,000 sign-on bonus paid in installments, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus tuition assistance and retirement matching.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by NBRC. For ER staff, PALS is required.

SIGN-ON BONUS OF $10,000; PAID OUT IN FOUR INSTALLMENTS.

Shift: 36 hours per week

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Licensure: Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Certifications: Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). For co-workers who work in the Emergency Room PALS is required.
• Other: Physical demands are attached plus push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs. Plus, pinch up to 10 lbs., kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally. Equipment Used: All appropriate respiratory care devices.

Preferred Education

• Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Preferred Experience

• Prefer critical care experience.
