Job summary

Equiliem seeks a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist for the Respiratory Therapy Unit to provide expert patient care and improve respiratory health outcomes. The role supports evaluation, treatment planning, and education for patients and families.

The candidate will work with a multidisciplinary team in a 13-week assignment, following 5:00AM-5:00PM shifts. NBRC certification and state RT license are required, along with standard life-support certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy.
• Current RT License/Certification.
• NBRC certification required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapy procedures as prescribed by physicians.
• Assess patients' respiratory conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care and management.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
