Job summary

CoxHealth South, Springfield, MO, is seeking a Graduate Respiratory Therapist to join the Respiratory Care Department. You will provide respiratory care across acute settings, including ventilator management and arterial blood gas analysis, and respond to emergent clinical needs.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Respiratory Program, with a preferred Bachelor's in a related field, and the ability to pass the RRT boards within 180 days. Relocation and sign-on benefits may apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Program.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• Current Missouri Respiratory license or permit; must pass the RRT boards within 180 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care across a wide range of acute settings, practicing at the top of license.
• Support 6 critical care units, a 28,000 square foot Emergency Department, and 9 inpatient floors.
• Perform arterial line placement and intubations.
• Deliver care using advanced ventilator management and therapy protocols.
