Job summary

Trinity Health in Muskegon, MI seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a full-time, 36-hour week Day Shift to provide ventilatory care, aerosolized medication delivery, ABG acquisition, and education of students, with bedside assessments and physician support. MI licensure and NBRC registration required; BLS on file (ACLS preferred).

Qualifications

• Licensure by the State of Michigan as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
• If Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT), then obtain RRT within 6 months of employment.
• Current Certification in Basic Life Support, prefer to have Advanced Cardiac Life Support as well.
• Working knowledge of all aspects of Respiratory Care including diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Familiar with all respiratory therapeutics and their actions.
• Responsible for complying with all policies including infection control and safety regulations.
• Perform all respiratory and cardiac diagnostic studies on patients of all ages.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records.
• Disinfect and sterilize equipment.
