Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire date or transfer date.
• Respiratory Therapist credentialed from Florida Board of Respiratory Care prior to hire date.
• Advanced Life Support preferred.
• Neonatal/NASP/PALS credentials are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient for appropriate type and frequency of treatment and develops a plan of care.
• Implements and monitors patient care plan and equipment; monitors and communicates patient condition.
• Evaluates respiratory practice and medications based on patient outcome.
• Educates patient and family about health condition and community resources.
• Responds to emergency resuscitation team code.
