Job summary

The Valley Hospital in Paramus, NJ is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to administer all forms of respiratory treatment, participate in consultations on therapy types, and maintain equipment and department records. The role requires NBRC credentials, ACLS and CPR, and an active New Jersey license.

Minimum 1–2 years of RT experience is preferred. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential to coordinate with physicians, Rehab, DI and laboratory staff in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an NBRC-approved program and NBRC registry completion.
• NBRC registration as an RT and NJ license.
• ACLS and CPR certifications; will require ongoing professional credentials.

Responsibilities

• Administer all forms of Respiratory Therapy.
• Provide consultations on therapy types and maintain equipment.
• Enforce safety standards and maintain departmental records.
• Collaborate with physicians, Rehab, DI, Lab and other teams.
