Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide and administer respiratory care therapy under supervision. The role includes performing evaluations, managing ventilators, administering gases, and ensuring patient education in both critical and non-critical care areas.

NJ Respiratory Care Practitioner License and RRT certificate required; $10,000 sign-on bonus for qualifying full-time new grads and new-to-HMH. Minimum rate of $44.41/hour.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Care program.
• Associate degree.
• Comprehensive knowledge of all clinical aspects of Respiratory Care.

Responsibilities

• Assists in diagnosis, treatment, and management of pulmonary disorders.
• Performs cardiopulmonary evaluation and education for patients and families.
• Administers and monitors respiratory care procedures and related equipment as prescribed.
• Maintains and verifies function of invasive and non-invasive respiratory equipment.
• Records procedures and patient response in the EPIC system.
