Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health in Neptune City, NJ seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist to deliver expert cardiopulmonary care in both critical and non-critical settings. You will evaluate patients, operate ventilation equipment, and educate families while following physician prescriptions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Care program.
• Associate degree.
• Comprehensive knowledge of all clinical aspects of Respiratory Care.

Responsibilities

• Assists in diagnosis, treatment, and management of pulmonary disorders under physician prescription.
• Operates and monitors respiratory care procedures and educates patients and families.
• Manages data from physiological specimens and performs related diagnostic tests and studies.
• Administers medications and supports ventilation and airway care as prescribed.
• Records procedures and patient responses in the EPIC EMR.
• Responds to emergencies and trauma codes.
• Oversees Technicians to ensure clinical compliance.
• Performs equipment maintenance and infection-control procedures.
