Job summary

AdventHealth Parker in Colorado is seeking a part-time Respiratory Therapist to join our patient-centered team. You will provide respiratory care across age groups, operate ventilation equipment, and document care in the EMR with accuracy and compassion.

We value clinical excellence, collaboration, and steady judgment in fast-paced settings. The role requires CRT or RRT, BLS/ACLS/NRP/PALS, and an Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy, with 1+ year preferred.

Qualifications

Associate's in Respiratory Therapy is required.
CRT or RRT certification required.
BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required.
1+ years of experience preferred.
Experience with EMR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates knowledge of techniques and treatment modalities for patients of varying ages.
Follows best practices to reduce potential medication errors.
Performs all duties and responsibilities for the assigned shift.
Documents all pertinent data on the patient’s medical record after completing service.
Administers respiratory therapy treatments, understanding the purpose and possible side effects of each.

Ability to perform ABG Puncture, analysis, arterial cannulation using sterile procedure, and hemodynamic monitoring [Required]
Ventilator patient transportation [Required]
Knowledge and skill to care for the pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient in a health care delivery system [Required]
Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR) [Preferred]
