Job summary

Middlesex Health in Connecticut seeks a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of pulmonary disorders. You will administer prescribed respiratory treatments and take primary responsibility for patient care related to breathing.

Qualifications

• RRT credential and CT license as Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Graduate of an accredited respiratory care program.
• Willingness to work night shifts and varied hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of pulmonary patients.
• Administer treatments prescribed by a physician for breathing-related conditions.
• Assume primary responsibility for respiratory care treatments.

Job description

• Hours: Full Time, 36 hours per week & Part Time, 24 hours per week - benefits eligible
• Shift: Shift 3, Nights
• Up to a $8,000 Sign-on Bonus Available

Position Summary

Assists in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with pulmonary disorders. Administers treatment prescribed by a physician for the care of patients with abnormalities associated with the process of breathing. Assumes primary responsibility for respiratory care treatments.

Minimum Qualifications

A Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) who is a graduate of an accredited school for Respiratory Care, currently licensed with the State of Connecticut as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
