Job summary

Logan Health Medical Center in Kalispell, MT, is seeking an experienced Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our trauma‑focused team. You will provide high‑impact, compassionate care across critical care settings, including ER, NICU, PICU, and med/surg, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.

Requirements include Montana RCP license, NBRC credentials (RRT or CRT with RRT within a year), and certification readiness (RQI/BLS, ACLS, PALS).

Qualifications

• Montana RCP license required or obtained prior to hire.
• RRT NBRC or CRT NBRC with RRT within 12 months of hire.
• RQI Provider (BLS) within 7 days of hire/transfer.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• PALS within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• New graduates considered.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑impact, compassionate care in a trauma center, treating patients across a wide range from labor and delivery to geriatrics.
• Manage complex cases and work across various settings, including critical care, PICU, NICU, ER, and med/surg.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patient outcomes.

Shift & Schedule

• Night Shift – 12 hours.
• 24/7 operations; schedules accommodated to position and organizational needs.

Qualifications

• Current Montana Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license (or obtained prior to hire).
• At least one of the following: RRT credentialed by NBRC; CRT licensed by NBRC who must obtain RRT within one year of hire.
• RQI Provider (BLS) within 7 days of hire/transfer, or before independent patient care.
• ACLS (ALC) within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• PALS within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• New graduates considered.
