Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking a compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders in Albuquerque, NM. The role includes ventilator management, bronchoscopy support, and NICU responsibilities.

The position offers night and weekend differential pay, tuition and certification reimbursement, loan forgiveness options, and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in respiratory therapy is required.
• Reg Respiratory Therapist (NBRC) credential required.
• Respiratory Care Practitioner license in NM.
• BLS certification, ACLS and/or PALS recommended.
• 6 months to 1 year of critical care experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• All Certified Respiratory Therapist responsibilities.
• Assist physicians with Bronchoscopy procedures and monitoring.
• Initiate ventilator protocols and manage ventilation.
• Perform advanced airway care including intubation and tracheostomy changes.
• Initiate and monitor high-frequency ventilators.
• NICU: surfactant delivery, intubation, and high-risk deliveries.
• Optional: transport team participation and backup charge therapy.
• Initiate and monitor Nitric Oxide delivery.
• Perform department-specific duties as outlined.
