Qualifications

• Associates Degree/Certification as Respiratory Therapy Technician/Registered Respiratory Therapy Technician.
• Current New Mexico licensure as Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner required.
• CPR certification required. ACLS certification preferred.
• One to three years experience in respiratory care.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily evaluation of respiratory care patients and execution of routine and entry level critical care procedures.
• Coordinates planning and coordination of the Respiratory Care Department's operational and financial activities.
• Ensures development and maintenance of department policies and procedures.
• Manages daily patient charges for respiratory therapy and EKGs with Business Office.
• Maintains readiness of respiratory therapy equipment and performs EKGs/holter as prescribed.
