Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join a knowledgeable team of caregivers dedicated to high-quality patient care. You will perform general radiology, portable and fluoroscopic exams, ensuring accurate, timely images and patient safety.

The position supports 4-10 hour night shifts (10:00pm–8:30am) with rotating holidays and every other weekend, offering opportunities for imaging school and MRI/cat scan programs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered Technologist by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in good standing.
• Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform general radiology exams, portable exams and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Produce quality images for interpretation with accuracy and without delay.
• Acquire, archive, transmit and print images via PACS.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after the exam.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Maintain documentation.
• Address equipment malfunctions and report to the help desk and PACS administrator.
• Assist with scheduling procedures and monitor priority of patients.

As an Radiology Technologist, you will be part of a knowledgeable family of caregivers that is constantly seeking ways to hone their skills in order to provide the best patient experience possible. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology


• Registered Technologist by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in good standing


• Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist


• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• One year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist

Physical Requirements:

• Standing and walking for extended periods of time


• Lifting or assisting patients of varying weight and manipulate equipment daily

Personal Protective Equipment:

• Follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required

Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $29.00

Maximum hourly: $44.50
