Job summary

WellSpan Health in York, PA, is seeking a full-time Registered Radiologist Assistant. This hybrid role involves working across WellSpan York Hospital and Apple Hill Medical Center, with a balanced inpatient and outpatient mix.

The ideal candidate will perform various radiologic procedures, enhance workflow in collaboration with Radiologists, and benefit from comprehensive health and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• Certification required for Registered Radiologist Assistant.
• Ability to perform patient assessments and radiologic procedures.
• Capable of working in a team environment and collaborating.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and radiologic procedures.
• Complete routine and specialized diagnostic radiography.
• Assist with high-volume general X-ray imaging.
• Maintain workflow with physician supervision onsite.
• Exposure to Interventional Radiology procedures.

Skills

ARST or CBRPA certification in active, good standing

Job Title: Registered Radiologist Assistant

Location: York, PA

Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• ARRT or CBRPA certification in active, good standing
• Hybrid role across WellSpan York Hospital (YH) and Apple Hill Medical Center (AH) Imaging
• Inpatient & outpatient mix with weekly rotation between settings
• Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)
• No weekends, no holidays, no call – strong work‑life balance
• Team environment with 4 full‑time RRAs on staff
• Open to new graduates
• Perform patient assessments, management, and radiologic procedures
• Complete routine and specialized diagnostic radiography
• Assist with high‑volume general X‑ray imaging
• Work closely with Radiologists in a collaborative, scribe‑supported setting (Radiologist dictates exams)
• Maintain autonomous workflow with physician supervision onsite
• Exposure to Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures at York Hospital
• Work in fluoroscopy, speech therapy imaging, and women’s imaging
• Perform sonograms, thyroid ultrasounds, and MR arthrograms
