Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging and support imaging services at St. Mary’s Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado. You will ensure high-quality images, patient safety, and adherence to protocol in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role requires ARRT certification and state licensure, BLS, and the ability to educate patients and supervise/assist other staff. Full-time, on-site position with standard hospital benefits.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification and state licensure as required.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Ability to work in a clinical, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in clinical functions.
• Verify patient identity and prepare the exam.
• Perform exams per protocol and review image quality.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines.
• Assist students and other radiology staff with protocol training.
• Provide patient education and comfort.
• Practice infection control and sterile technique.
• Record patient data and report equipment issues.
• Follow coding, charging, and QC procedures.
