Registered Radiation Therapist - Full Time First Shift

The Registered Radiation Therapist provides daily cancer patient care by accurately delivering radiation treatments according to physician instructions.

• Reviews prescriptions, schedules appointments, and educates patients before and after treatment.
• Prepares treatment rooms and equipment, collaborates with physicists and dosimetrists, and maintains communication with the care team.
• Performs imaging, transfers patients, monitors during treatment, and reports reactions or emergencies.
• Maintains patient markings, reinforces care instructions, and observes safety protocols.
• Documents treatments, updates manuals, and prepares for simulations.
• Qualifications include completion of an accredited program, ARRT registration, BLS certification, and strong communication skills.
• May require overtime and shift work, with opportunities to lead specialized procedures.
