The role includes simulations, student instruction, and potential overtime and on-call duties.

Relocation assistance and a $15k sign-on bonus may be available; new graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates must hold ARRT registration and complete an accredited Radiation Therapy program.

Qualifikationen

• Completion of an accredited program in Radiation Therapy.
• ARRT registration required.
• BLS Certification required (AHA Healthcare Provider).
• Analytical ability to set up equipment and position patients.
• Strong communication with staff and physicians.

Aufgaben

• Reviews prescriptions, diagnosis, chart, and patient identification for each patient receiving treatment.
• Schedules patients for appointments and provides education for pre- and post-treatment.
• Prepares treatment room and equipment according to prescription and safety protocols.
• Ensures collaboration with physicist and dosimetrist at treatment initiation.
• Acts as liaison with supportive care physicians, nurses, and social workers.
• Maintains open communication with doctors, therapists, RNs, and dosimetrists.
• Takes and checks images of treated areas and files them.
• Transfers patients to treatment couch and monitors IV lines and equipment.
• Maintains patient contact during treatment to observe reactions and report issues.
• Maintains patient markings per physician direction.
• Reinforces post-treatment care instructions to patients.
