Qualifications

  • Successful completion of a sleep technology program or equivalent proficiency.
  • NBRC SDS or RPSGT or RST certification required.
  • Maintains CPR/BLS certification and sleep technology credentials.
  • Maintains current knowledge of sleep study protocols and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Follow protocols (MSLT, MWT, PAP titration) to collect data.
  • Perform calibrations and ensure signal quality with artifact correction.
  • Document sleep stages and clinical events for scoring.
  • Oversee sleep center staff and ensure patient safety and education.
  • Prepare portable monitoring equipment and data download.
  • Generate accurate sleep study reports and ensure data integrity.

Education
