Job summary

UNC REX Healthcare in Patton Park is seeking a Registered Polysomnography Technologist to join our Sleep Lab team. This full-time position involves working under medical supervision to evaluate and treat sleep disorders through both in-center and out-of-center testing.

Key responsibilities include performing polysomnographic data acquisition, scoring sleep studies, and documenting clinical observations. Preferred candidates will have at least one year of experience with sleep studies and hold the necessary certifications.

Qualifications

• Must have Registered Polysomnographic Technologist certification by BRPT.
• Must have completed a sleep technology program accredited by a recognized institution.
• Experience in performing sleep studies, including PAP titrations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform data acquisition for polysomnographic studies.
• Document clinical observations and procedures during studies.
• Score sleep studies accurately and timely.
• Exercise clinical judgment in patient care.
• Evaluate patient conditions for clinical intervention.
