A leading staffing agency is seeking a Full-time RPSGT to conduct overnight sleep studies in a prominent sleep center. Responsibilities include managing polysomnography, patient monitoring, and reporting in compliance with AASM standards. The ideal candidate will have relevant certifications and experience, along with excellent patient care skills during 12-hour night shifts.
Intro: Full-time RPSGT to conduct overnight sleep studies in a sleep center, ensuring high-quality polysomnography and patient care during 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM, 3-4 nights/week).
Requirements:
Conduct polysomnographic studies (PSG, CPAP, BiPAP titrations).
Set up equipment, apply electrodes/sensors, and monitor patients.
Score sleep stages, respiratory/cardiac events, and prepare reports.
Document observations every 20 minutes (sleep stages, clinical events, SaO2, heart rate).
Ensure compliance with AASM standards and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
RPSGT certification from BRPT or RRT with sleep study experience.
NY state polysomnographic technologist license.
Current BCLS certification.
2+ years of sleep technologist experience preferred.
Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods.
