Redwood Sleep Center, an established, AASM accredited, independent sleep laboratory in Novato California, is looking for a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist licensed in California to provide overnight sleep studies.

Essential Skills and Requirements include:

• Polysomnographic testing, PAP titration, and patient education when needed.
• Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines. Follow HIPAA policies to maintain the privacy and security of patient information.
• Perform routine equipment care and maintenance.
• Maintain current CPR certification, yearly continuing medical education, and state licensure
• Demonstrate critical thinking and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrate ability to follow directions.
• Respond to sleep patients’ procedural-related inquiries by providing appropriate information.
• Adhere to sleep center policies related to quality assurance.
• Comply with professional standards of conduct.
• Overnight shift work from around 7 pm to 7 am.

Education and/or Experience (one of the following certificates):

• Registered Polysomnography Technologist (RPSGT)
• ABSM Registered Sleep Technologist (RST)
• Currently possess a valid CPR certification issued from the AHA.

General:

In addition to possessing a proactive work ethic and the ability to work both independently and within a team environment, the ideal candidate must have reliable transportation and superb attendance.
