Job summary

Brookshire Brothers is seeking a Registered/Certified Pharmacy Technician FT in McGregor, TX to support pharmacists in providing pharmacy services to the public. This role may also serve as a floater technician, working under direct supervision to complete non-discretionary tasks and retain confidentiality of records.

Responsibilities include filling prescriptions, data entry, operating the pharmacy register, ordering supplies, validating NDC numbers, processing invoices, and training personnel

Qualifications

• Must be a registered/certified pharmacy technician with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, courteous service at all times.
• Assist the pharmacist with filling prescribed drugs and entering prescription data.
• Operate the pharmacy register and manage inventory and returns.
• Validate the NDC numbers and classify prescriptions within 48 hours of receipt.
• Process invoices and respond to correspondence.
• Maintain confidentiality of pharmacy and customer records per OBRA 1990.
• Assist in other store operations as needed.
