Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a registered/certified pharmacy technician with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Display outstanding customer service skills by greeting customers, and providing friendly, courteous service at all times.
• Assist the pharmacist with filling prescribed drugs, entering prescription data, operating the register for pharmacy sales, re-ordering medicine and supplies, stocking shelves, and all other duties as assigned.
• Validate the NDC number from the stock bottle with the NDC number of the file tag when processing prescriptions, file and sequence new prescriptions documents in proper classification within 48 hours of receipt.
