Job summary

Qualifications

• Greeting customers and providing friendly, courteous service at all times.
• Assist the pharmacist with filling prescribed drugs, entering prescription data, operating the register, re-ordering medicine and supplies, stocking shelves.

Responsibilities

• Validate the NDC number from stock bottles with file tag numbers for prescriptions; file and classify documents within 48 hours of receipt.
• Process invoices and respond to correspondence (electronic or written).
• Assist in training personnel as dictated by store management.
• Maintain confidentiality of pharmacy and customer records in compliance with OBRA 1990.
