Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Registration with Texas State Board of Pharmacy as Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacist Intern license is required (in good standing).
• IV Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dosage medications for dispensing into bottles/containers and unit-dose packaging.
• Count pills/tablets and mix medications that need reconstitution.
• Compound sterile preparations and fill/replenish automated dispensing cabinets.
• Handle clerical tasks: answer phones, stock shelves, cash handling, data entry.
