We are seeking a Registered Pharmacy Technician to work in a fast-paced environment. The role involves assisting pharmacists with medication preparation, including repackaging, compounding, filling, and delivery, tailored to patients from 0 to adult age groups. Responsibilities also include managing procurement, record keeping, storage, and distribution of controlled substances.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process prescriptions and medication orders
• Distribute pharmaceutical and supply shipments properly
• Ensure timely delivery of doses within departmental standards
• Maintain activity checklists, including expired drugs, cleaning, and supplies
• Check communication channels such as email and mailbox regularly
• Complete daily filing of medication and stop orders
• Coordinate with Materials and Logistics for stock management
• Assist with new formulations, product updates, and stock management including updating Master Formulation Book and M&R system
• Conduct weekly inspections of pharmacy areas for drug accountability and study drugs, preparing for patient visits

All candidates must undergo respiratory fit testing to ensure workplace safety.

Qualifications:

• RPHT-TX - Registered Pharmacy Technician by the State Board of Pharmacy OR
• PHAR INT - Pharmacy Intern
• CPHT certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (preferred)
• At least 2 years of pharmacy technician experience (preferred)
• 40 hours of accredited sterile compounding training (preferred)
