Job summary

SpecialtyRx, Inc in Roanoke, VA is seeking a licensed Pharmacy Technician to join our long-term care pharmacy team. You will handle daily dispensing tasks under supervision and support state-registered processes to ensure accuracy.

The role offers competitive pay, evening and overnight shifts, health/dental/vision insurance, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with match, and training to advance to lead roles and IV/data entry training.

Qualifications

• Licensed Virginia Pharmacy Technician is required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
• Reliable and able to execute multiple assigned tasks.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to physically perform light lifting.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of a supervisor.
• Experience working in a Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) room a plus.
• Maintain floor stock, including restocking and removal of expired medications.
• Rotate medication stock to ensure quality control standards.
• Prepack bulk medications prescribed for floor stock.
• Package, fill, and ship medications accurately.
• Maintain pharmacy standards and adhere to all policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to support pharmacy goals.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

  • 6pm-2:30am
