Randstad USA is hiring for a contract Pharmacy Technician to join a fast-paced production pharmacy team in Plainfield, IN. You will work alongside pharmacists and shipping coordinators to ensure accurate prescription fulfillment and timely shipping to stores.

The role requires Indiana registration, high school diploma, and hands-on experience in a warehouse or retail setting. Work hours include early shifts with potential overtime and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

Job summary:Join our fast-paced production pharmacy team to help us meet crucial throughput goals and ensure completed prescriptions are accurately shipped to our stores. Working collaboratively alongside pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, shipping/receiving coordinators, and management, you will play a vital role in maintaining daily production levels. This site handles major inventory and requires hands-on, active work to keep fulfillment operations running smoothly.

salary: $17.00 - $22.50 per hour

work hours: 5:45am-4:15p & 4pm-2:30am

education: High School Diploma

Responsibilities

• Prescription Fulfillment: Replenish medications into cells for automated dispensing stations and manually fill prescriptions with high accuracy.
• Packaging: Securely package medications for shipment to retail store locations.
• Material Handling: Stock packages weighing up to 50 lbs into racks and shelves, and assist with moving, stacking, and organizing pallets of heavy inventory.
• Production Targets: Maintain consistent production levels to ensure throughput and shipping goals are met daily.

Qualifications

• Mandatory Licensure: Active Pharmacy Technician registration in both Indiana (IN) and Minnesota (MN).

Skills

• Specialized Experience: Prior experience working in a central fill, PillPack, specialty/mail order production pharmacy, or a fast-paced shipping department.
• Professional Background: A strong, consistent job history with previous warehouse or retail experience.
