Hy-Vee is hiring a Registered Pharmacist to fill and verify prescriptions, counsel patients, and support the pharmacy team. You will help grow wellness programs and engage with the community while upholding HIPAA and regulatory standards.

This fast-paced retail pharmacy role requires strong patient care focus, accuracy in dispensing, and teamwork with store operations and healthcare staff.

Qualifications

• College degree and licensure in pharmacy required; must maintain continuing education to keep license active.
• 6 months to 1 year of similar or related work experience required.
• Medication Therapy Management (MTM) preferred.
• Ability to administer immunizations required.

Responsabilités

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile, learning their names, and making every interaction a positive one.
• Fill and verify prescriptions and counsel patients in accordance with OBRA '90 regulations and all state and federal statutes and regulations.
• Assist with controlled substance inventory on an annual basis or as recommended.
• Assist with inventory control including ordering, stocking merchandise, checking invoices, and entering inventory information.
• Assist with reconciliation and balancing of third-party accounts and monthly inventory.
• Coach, counsel, and train pharmacy employees and participate in additional education and training.
