Job summary

Hy-Vee, Inc. is seeking a Registered Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team in Iowa. You will fill and verify prescriptions, counsel patients, and support wellness programs while maintaining HIPAA privacy and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has a college degree in pharmacy, a valid pharmacist license, and a willingness to support community health efforts. Immunizations certification is required and MTM experience is preferred for growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• College degree and licensure in pharmacy required.
• 6 months to 1 year of similar or related work experience required.
• Medication Therapy Management (MTM) preferred.
• Ability to administer immunizations required.
• HIPAA confidentiality and privacy of patient information required.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service and greet customers with a smile.
• Fill and verify prescriptions and counsel patients in accordance with regulations.
• Assist with inventory control and third-party accounts reconciliation.
• Coach and train pharmacy staff and assist with education and training.
• Administer immunizations as certified and support wellness programs.
