Job summary

Hy-Vee Cedar Rapids is seeking a Registered Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team. You will fill and verify prescriptions, counsel patients, and support community wellness initiatives in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualified candidates hold a pharmacy degree and license, with 6 months to 1 year of related experience; MTM experience and immunization certification are preferred. Immunizations can be administered as certified in accordance with state laws.

Qualifications

College degree and licensure in pharmacy required.
6 months to 1 year of similar or related work experience preferred.
Medication Therapy Management (MTM) preferred.
Ability to administer immunizations required.

Responsibilities

Fill and verify prescriptions and counsel patients in accordance with OBRA '90 and state/federal regulations.
Assist with inventory control, ordering, stocking, and invoicing.
Counsel patients and promote wellness programs and community outreach.
Administer immunizations as certified and maintain HIPAA privacy standards.
