Job summary

TheraDynamics is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide skilled nursing care, evaluate and treat patients recovering from strokes, hip fractures, and cardiac events, and design interventions to improve ADLs and home safety. You will collaborate with nursing, PT, SLP, and social work to coordinate care and support discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current New York State OT license
• NBCOT certification or eligible
• Passion for helping patients regain independence
• Strong clinical reasoning and creative problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with nursing, PT, SLP, and social work to ensure coordinated patient care
• Address self-care skills, cognitive and perceptual deficits, home safety, and caregiver training
