Job summary

Cuyuna Regional Medical Center is seeking an LPN or CMA for the Crosby Clinic to assess patients, assist with procedures, and document care in the chart. You will coordinate communications among patients, physicians, and healthcare teams while supporting scheduling and follow-ups in a busy clinic environment.

The ideal candidate holds Minnesota LPN or CMA/CCMA credentials, with BLS certification and at least 1 year of nursing experience, and will thrive in a collaborative, patient-centered

Qualifications

• Current LPN license from the State of Minnesota or CMA/CCMA eligible with certification within one year of hire.
• American Heart Association BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• One year of clinical nursing experience preferred for coordinator or specialist roles.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and prepare them for physician consultations, including assisting with procedures.
• Document patient interactions and treatments in medical records per clinic policies.
• Coordinate care by communicating with patients, physicians, and other healthcare teams.
• Schedule tests and manage follow-ups; support maintaining clinic supplies.

A Day in the Life of an LPN / CMA - Crosby Clinic

In this role, you will primarily be responsible for assessing patients and preparing them for physician consultations, including assisting with procedures and treatments. Your day-to-day tasks will involve thorough documentation of patient interactions and treatments in medical records while ensuring compliance with clinic policies and state nursing regulations. You will be pivotal in managing the communication between patients, physicians, and other healthcare teams to coordinate care, including scheduling tests and managing follow-ups. The position demands strong organizational skills to handle a high-stress environment and adapt to varying patient needs. As an LPN, you'll also assist in maintaining clinic supplies and educating patients about their care, providing direct and indirect patient support.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

Required

• Current LPN license from the State of Minnesota -OR- Graduate of a medical assistant program with CMA OR CCMA certification within one year of hire
• American Heart Association BLS certification within 30 days of hire
• One year of clinical nursing experience (for coordinator or specialist roles)
