Signet Health is recruiting a full-time Behavioral Health RN in Minot, North Dakota, to provide recovery-oriented nursing care for patients with acute psychiatric conditions. Shifts include Evenings/Nights and Days/Evenings, with competitive hourly pay and comprehensive hospital benefits.

You will perform mental and physical health assessments, administer medications, monitor responses, and contribute to crisis intervention and safety planning within a collaborative, trauma-informed team setting.

Formación

• Current or temporary RN license in North Dakota or compact RN licensure.
• BLS certification within orientation period.
• RN licensure evidenced by licensure.
• Hospital experience preferred but not required.

Signet Health, a national behavioral health management company, is currently assisting our client hospital, Trinity Health Hospital Campus & Medical District, in recruiting full-time behavioral health RNs.

$32.00 - $49.60 Hourly; all benefits provided by hospital.

Evenings/Nights & Days/Evenings

The Mental Health Registered Nurse (RN) provides therapeutic, recovery-oriented nursing care to patients experiencing acute psychiatric conditions or behavioral health crises. This role conducts comprehensive mental and physical health assessments, monitors changes in patient status, and implements individualized nursing interventions that support safety, stabilization, and emotional well-being. Working collaboratively with psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and interdisciplinary support staff, the RN helps ensure coordinated treatment planning and effective crisis response. As part of a supportive, team-based behavioral health environment, this position fosters a healing, trauma-informed setting that respects patient dignity and promotes engagement in the recovery process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct mental health and physical assessments, observe changes in behavior, mood, risk level, and response to treatment.
• Implement therapeutic interventions, administer medications, and monitor side effects or adverse reactions to psychiatric treatments.
• Participate in crisis intervention, de-escalation, and safety planning to maintain a secure and supportive environment for patients and staff.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient participation in treatment accurately within the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop, update, and evaluate individualized care plans that support stabilization and recovery.
• Provide patient and family education on diagnosis, coping strategies, and available community resources as appropriate.

Requirements/Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Current or temporary RN license in North Dakota or compact RN licensure.
• BLS certification required within orientation period.

• RN program as evidenced by licensure.
