Job summary

Signet Health is assisting Trinity Health Hospital Campus & Medical District in recruiting full-time Behavioral Health RN positions in Minot, ND. The role offers an hourly wage range and comprehensive hospital benefits.

Shifts include Evenings/Nights and Days/Evenings, with a team-oriented, trauma-informed care environment. The RN provides therapeutic nursing care for patients with acute psychiatric conditions, conducts assessments, administers medications, and participates in treatment planning

Qualifications

Current or compact RN license for North Dakota
BLS certification within orientation period
RN program as evidenced by licensure
Hospital experience is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Conduct mental health and physical assessments, observe changes in behavior, mood, risk level, and response to treatment.
Administer medications and monitor side effects or adverse reactions to psychiatric treatments.
Participate in crisis intervention, de-escalation, and safety planning to maintain a secure environment.
Document assessments, interventions, and patient participation in treatment in the electronic health record.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to update individualized care plans for stabilization and recovery.
Provide patient and family education on diagnosis, coping strategies, and community resources.
